Baraat
The baraat is the groom's arrival to the wedding ceremony, amid much pomp and circumstance. There is typically lots of dancing and singing as he enters with a parade of loved ones. It begins with the groom's processional to the ceremony. Traditionally the groom rides in a luxury car or on the back of an elephant (in city style Rudra will be riding in a bike rickshaw) and all of his friends and family join him. This event leads to the beginning of the wedding ceremony.
